Testing 1, 2, 3?

If you've read my "Who am I?" page you know this is my first blog and to make things even worse I am so technologically challenged that I question why I was born in this day and age. Currently, this is me testing to see the difference between a Post and a Page to see where this ends up. Wish me luck! (Oh heck yeah, I just found a "preview" button and I think this looks good.)

USAC Program

When I chose to study abroad, I knew I wanted to go to Spain. The USAC Valencia program was the only one where I could take my core classes (like calc II and physics) in English while also being on a Spanish track. Ireland

For as long as I can remember, it has always been my dream to visit Ireland and it finally happened. I started in Dublin and got into town right after the sun had set. The fact they drive on the opposite side of the road really gave me a headache but at the crosswalks they have signs telling you which direction to look, thankfully. It was much more humid than I thought it would be and therefore less cold as well. The coolest times seemed to be in the morning but by noon it had typically warmed up. The first day started with an early morning tour to northern Ireland and spots where Game of Thrones had been filed (if you know me, you know I was ecstatic). On our way to the north, (GOT pun not intended) there was nothing but green for as far as you could see. Green fields seemed to go on forever and some were straight out of a fairy tale with sheep in them surrounded by stone walls or tall green hedges. Traveling Tips and Tricks!

Everything from packing, to transportation, to apps, to cheap flights, here is what I have learned! This post is very long so follow the headings for the advice you need. Packing- Before you leave the States: Lay out the bags you're planning on taking with you. Open the suitcases, lay them down, unzip your duffel or your backpack and lay it in one area. Next lay out all the clothes you want to take with you. Girls this includes make up and cosmetics. The next part is dependent on your destination. If you're going somewhere very remote or to a village in a third world country then this might not be the best guide line but if you're coming to Europe, or somewhere like Europe, you might want to take out. Now eliminate at least 1/3 of the clothes. Yes you've read that right. One. Third. Although Europe is halfway across the world they have a lot of the same stuff here.
